Introduction & Disclaimer
This site provides a reasonably comprehensive schedule of the statutory laws that are currently in force in the Turks & Caicos Islands.
You can get to the relevant legislation through either a subject index or via an alphabetical list if you already know the name of the legislation that you would like to access, the link for which is to the right of this text.
The legislation is saved on this site as PDF files so you will need Adobe Acrobat reader to open the files. Most of the legislation on this site is saved in searchable PDf files, which means that you can execute key word searches in the file to direct you to relevant sections of the legislation. Note that more recent legislation may not be searchable in that manner.
Although every effort is made to provide a complete and an up to date resource, the statutory laws of a jurisdiction is a constantly evolving body of work, involving a never ending stream of amendments, repeals, and additions to that body of work.
This is a resource that is available nowhere else, and it is provided by the developers of this site for the benefit of the people of the Turks & Caicos Islands, but it is done without the assistance of the Government of the Turks & Caicos Islands and invariably there will be instances where there are amendments to legislation that are not reflected in the documents that are posted on this site, so the legislation on this site should be used for general guidance only and a practicing attorney should be consulted before any decisions are taken based on the legislation posted to this site.
The legislation posted in this section of the site is Crown Copyright.
